Loma Linda University’s Department of Psychology was recently awarded a 2.95 million dollar grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). This grant provides scholarships to 21 clinical psychology doctoral students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are interested in pursuing a career in primary care psychology. Eligible students include those from educational or economically disadvantaged backgrounds and priority is given to students from racial and ethnic minority groups under-represented in the health sciences. The scholarship award is for up to $30,000 per year and can be renewed for 3 years (for a total of $90,000).
