  3. Training in technology/biomarker acquired data acquisition

  4. Training in evidence-based applied sport psychology/ABSP Athlete Assessment, Mental Training and Analytics Protocol

  5. Daily Lecture

  6. REMOTE Program can be done with one or more athletes from any sport (Self-Study as an athlete can also be structured: apply procedures/learn/train yourself using Protocols

  7. Program Counts toward ABSP Board Certification if or when eligible

  8. One week up to 6 month programs (Ideal length: 1 to 2 months)

Summary of Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing scheduled curriculum options for program participants. Ability to support, teach, supervise, and advocate for participants and produce case notes/assessments. Able to report unusual occurrences and attend scheduled in-service training. Also responsible for assisting clients with independent living skills, toileting, feeding, and monitoring during lunch and break times.

Summary of Position Responsibilities:

The Clinical Director is responsible for the administration, execution, and maintenance of Maryvale’s dual diagnosis program. The position is responsible for the oversight of all clinical and counseling staff, ensuring that all clinical and related administrative policies and procedures are fully implemented and followed. They will participate in the recruitment and hiring of clinical treatment staff, providing direct services to clients and their families on an as needed basis, collaborating closely with Maryvale’s Executive Leadership Team for program development, strategic planning, and performance improvement.


Must be licensed (LMFT, LCSW) by the State of California BBS and/or (Ph.D, Psy.D) by the State of California Board of Psychology for a minimum of three years. All credentials must be in good standing and current.

4P: Primary Care Psychology Pipeline Program

Loma Linda University’s Department of Psychology was recently awarded a 2.95 million dollar grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). This grant provides scholarships to 21 clinical psychology doctoral students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are interested in pursuing a career in primary care psychology. Eligible students include those from educational or economically disadvantaged backgrounds and priority is given to students from racial and ethnic minority groups under-represented in the health sciences. The scholarship award is for up to $30,000 per year and can be renewed for 3 years (for a total of $90,000). In addition to receiving up to a 43% reduction in student loan debt, our 4P Scholars also benefit from enhanced peer and faculty mentorship opportunities and enriched training experiences in primary care.
